Don’t forget to turn in valentines!
We can't wait to spread a little love and kindness to our local senior communities this Valentine's Day by handing out valentines!
At Kay's Academy of Dance, we commit to community outreach and aim to instill the value of kindness in our students. By engaging in projects like this, we hope to inspire them to seek opportunities for random acts of kindness throughout their lives.
💌 We will be collecting handmade valentines at the studio through February 12th!
Recital News
2026 Recital
Recital season is almost here! Mark Your Calendars!
Our recitals will be Thursday, June 11th-Sunday, June 14th.
Each class will participate in dress rehearsal on Saturday, June 6th, followed by performances in two recitals from June 11th-14th.
These events will be held at the Mukwonago High School Performing Arts Center.
You will receive your specific recital dates and times this month!
Costume Payments
Time is sure flying, we can’t believe it’s already February!
With recital season just around the corner, we wanted to remind you that costume balances are due March 1st. If you paid your costumes in full, you will have nothing due at this time.

Dancers in Motion
Milwaukee Bucks Game Performance
Watch Dancers In Motion perform before the Milwaukee Bucks game on March 15th at 2:30PM! Deadline to purchase tickets is February 16th!
Wisconsin Herd Game Performance
Join us for the Wisconsin Herd basketball game at the Oshkosh Arena on March 7th. Dancers in Motion will be performing for the halftime show! Have you snagged your tickets yet? Don’t miss out on the action, the last day to purchase tickets is February 8th!
Milwaukee Wave Game Performance
We would love for everyone to join us at the Milwaukee Wave game, where Dancers in Motion will perform for the March 22nd game.
Deadline to purchase tickets is March 7th!
Valentines Day Party! (Fundraising Event)
Bring the kids to dance, play, and celebrate Valentine’s Day with us on February 14 from 1:30–4:30!
We’ll have 3 rooms of fun including:
💗 Dancing with our Dancers in Motion girls
💗 Blow-up slide & Valentine’s craft
💗 Games with prizes
Optional add-ons:
🍰 Decorate your own Valentine cupcake – $1
💖 Hair tinsel – $3
$15 per child | $10 for second child- pay ahead or @ the door
Parents are welcome to stay. If you choose to leave, children must be potty trained.
This is a fundraiser for our Dancer’s in Motion New York trip — thank you for supporting our dancers it means so much to them!
Daddy-Daughter Recital Dance Practice
If you signed up to participate in this year's Recital Daddy-Daughter Dance, don't forget that practices begin February 5th. We can’t wait to get started!
*Your first practice as been assigned to you. If you are unsure when your start date is, please contact the studio.
Practice begins 2/5 and runs through the end of May:
Thursday Session: 4:10-4:55 pm
Saturday Session: 10:30-11:15 pm
Spring Break
It’s hard to believe we are talking about spring, but be sure to mark your calendars!
The studio will be closed March 30th-April 6th for Spring Break!
